With regard to Election of Officers - the Association is seeking nominations for volunteers to take up roles on the Executive Committee, especially as the existing Chair and Secretary are standing down at the AGM.

Executive Committee
Anyone wishing to stand for election for an Executive post should submit their details along with the details of two nominees.

The Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association welcomes NW volunteers from across the county to consider joining the committee to help fulfil the role of our organisation. Without support, the organisation cannot exist. The committee usually meets bi-monthly, at alternative venues across Suffolk. Travel expenses are provided where appropriate.

The chairman role requires a person that can take forward the Association, and be the lead interface with county partners such as the constabulary, council, and Police & Crime Commissioner, as well the National NW organisation.

The secretary role requires a person able to take notes at committee meetings, and then produce these in electronic format as ”minutes of the meeting”. Template documents are provided to enable the minutes to be produced.

All nominations shall be submitted to the Secretary one week prior to the AGM via our website contact form
