The Parish Council has the intention of maintaining and improving the quality of the village and of the lives of those residents within it.

Areas of interest include crime prevention, lighting, litter, open spaces, planning, rights of way, roadside verges, seats, shelters and signs, etc.

Planning Applications

The Parish Council reviews all planning applications affecting the parish. We then pass our opinions to Mid Suffolk District Council which they may take into account when they make their decision to permit, deny or permit with conditions.

You can view all current and past applications by searching the Mid Suffolk District Council's online planning page.

Accounts

Parish Council accounts are audited twice annually, once by a local auditor and then they are sent to an external auditor who is appointed by the Audit Commission. The results of this audit are posted on the village notice-boards later in the year.
