Queens Platinum Jubilee walk
Seventeen jolly folk, plus three dogs, gathered together for our Jubilee Walk on 3rd June. We all met some old friends and happily made some new ones. The weather was perfect. There was lots of chat and laughter en route.

Exploring St Georges with Roy Tricker on Saturday 21st May 2022 at 7pm.
Having not attended a guided church tour before I was intrigued as to what to expect and I have to say I can now thoroughly recommend it. Roy Tricker was an excellent guide and made the experience a very enjoyable one combining much information and detail about St Georges with a light hearted and entertaining approach. St Georges Church is a very special building with an intriguing history. Thanks must go to Jane Hutton for organising the tour and Roy for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Around 30 people attended.

Friends of St Georges
Church/Community Center/Events Venue/Meeting Place are many ways of describing what is a magnificent Stowlangtoft Treasure, St Georges Church, that we need to cherish not to mention maintain for the benefit of the whole village and surrounding area and as such it has been suggested that we set up a group to work alongside the Parocial Church Council to raise the profile together with raising funds to help sustain St Georges. The invitation to join the group and to offer ideas and help is open to all residents of Stowlangtoft. There has been much interest shown in starting this group but we are in need of a chair person/coordinator to collate together ideas and arrange meetings. Anyone willing to take on this role will have plenty of support.
